Join us for an engaging and educational day featuring unique properties with a wide variety of management objectives. The day will feature a tour of Rayonier Forestry Operations in Rayonier's Nassau County forests.  Rayonier is a timber REIT that owns approximately 2.7 million acres in the US and New Zealand.  The tour will include stops to view intensively managed loblolly and slash pine plantations,  longleaf pine stands, and bottomland hardwood stands. We will discuss how Rayonier's forests provide sustainable timber production as well as ecosystem services such as carbon, water, and biodiversity.

The day will also feature a visit to White Oak Conservation, a state-of-the-art scientific education and conservation center focused on saving and recovering populations of rare species, building assurance populations, researching animal health, convening experts, and educating the next generation of conservation experts.  White Oak is widely respected among conservationists for work in protecting and propagating rare animals which expands across the United States and beyond, in partnership with state and federal agencies, including the US Fish and Wildlife Service.

In addition to learning about forest management objectives and activities taking place onsite, attendees will be introduced to White Oak's conservation programs, facilities, and some of the more than 30 species that call White Oak home.
