Gather at the ACF Registration Desk no later than 7:45am to check in. Transportation will be provided and we will return to the Crowne Plaza no later than 5:30pm.

Discover the culture, history, and flavors that make south Louisiana unforgettable on this immersive Baton Rouge excursion. The day begins with a guided sightseeing tour of Louisiana’s capital city, featuring narrated highlights and photo stops that showcase the city’s rich history and unique character. From there, travel along scenic River Road to the historic Houmas House plantation, where you’ll enjoy a guided tour of the home and time to explore its beautiful grounds.

The experience continues with a lively Cajun cooking demonstration where guests will learn the art of making authentic jambalaya—followed by the chance to enjoy the dish they’ve prepared. Along the way, enjoy classic Louisiana treats like coffee and beignets and hear a few “tall tales” that bring the region’s culture and traditions to life.

Equal parts history, flavor, and storytelling, this outing offers a true taste of Louisiana hospitality! Transportation and lunch are provided.
