Description
Communicating and Executing  Complex Management Solutions.  This webinar will introduce participants to a few of the primary ethical methods that we employ every day when faced with ethically weighted situations.  Following a discussion about each approach, its central ideas and an overview of how the method works, we will put these techniques to use, demonstrating what they can teach us about effective communication in complex management situations.  The purpose of this program is to raise your awareness and deepen your understanding of the variety of ethical considerations that you already make when thinking about situations that are in tension, as a result of competing interests among individuals, industries and communities.  Throughout the course of this workshop you will become more aware of the key categories of considerations that we all rely on when we try to resolve conflict.  With greater awareness of how  you “intuitively” navigate a fraught or conflicted situation, comes a heightened ability to “interrogate” your own thinking for bias, to recognize the hidden position and motivations of others and to reflect more ably on your decision making process.    Presented by: Marianne Patinelli-Dubay, PhD, SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry

Description
According to a 2018 Prezi survey, 55 percent of respondents said a great story captures their focus. They thought most presentations need serious improvement with 4 out of 5  saying they shifted their focus away from the speaker in the last presentation they attended. It’s even more challenging with virtual presentations because you have so many potential interruptions. With 30M PPT presentations created each day, how can yours stand out? In this workshop, ACF’s PR consultant, Sheri Singer, provides suggestions to take your presentation from meh to wow. Learn how more is less, how to create a compelling story, how to create slides that keep your audience engaged and how to monitor your nonverbal communication. Whether you are talking one-on-one with a potential client or to a larger group of meeting attendees, this session will sharpen your presentation skills.    Presented by: Sheri Singer, President, Singer Communications
